Requirements for using pre-existing equipment with our POS software
Our POS system works with much of the POS equipment you already have.
This is a list of minimum requirements for your pre-existing equipment.
Please ask your sales representative which package suits you best.
Single Location (Less than 10 Client Machines)
Pre-existing Equipment Host computer requirements:
- DVD Drive for backups (Recommended)
- Minimum of 512MB of RAM(1GB preferred)
- Speed minimum 1GHz
- Fax Modem (Recommended)
- At least a 100 Mbps network card
- Hard drive free space of 10 GB
- Microsoft Windows XP Professional or Microsoft Server (version 2003 or newer) Operating System
Client Computer Requirements:
- Minimum of 512 MB RAM (1GB preferred)
- Speed minimum of 1GHz
- At least a 100 Mbps network card
- Hard drive free space of 10GB
- Microsoft Windows XP Microsoft Windows 7 Operating System

Monitor Requirements:
- Minimum 15" with resolution of at least 1024 X 768
Cash Register Equipment:
- Barcode Scanners: Keyboard wedge or USB connection
- Magnetic strip reader: Keyboard wedge or USB connection that reads track 1, 2, & 3
- Receipt Printer: Serial or USB connection
- Cash Drawer: Must connect to the receipt printer
- Pole Display: Epson emulated compatible and Serial port or USP to a redirected comport
